HABITAT GALA DINNER
The Habitat Gala Dinner is a special Christmas Dinner and Acoustic Christmas Concert package to benefit the Black Hills Area Habitat for Humanity.
History & Purpose:
For seventeen years, the Habitat South Dakota Acoustic Christmas has been a family orientated concert celebrating the Spirit of the Christmas holiday through a wide variety of live acoustic music, performed by a core group of South Dakota musicians.  The event was conceived through the creativity of Kenny Putnam and his artistic accomplices from within the state of South Dakota, who wanted to perform traditional Christmas songs in a not-so-traditional way, partnering with guest artists each year.  The 2007 concert included guest artists Noah Hoehn on Harmonica and Jazz artist Jeremy Hegg, both of which brought a blues/jazz influence to the performance.
Habitat for Humanity has added a Gala Dinner which is hosted at the Civic Center before the evening concert, providing a unique dinner/concert experience.

The Gala Dinner will be held on December 8, 2007 at 5:00 pm.  The dinner will be held in the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center prior to the begining of the Acoustic Christmas Concert.

  • 5:45 pm Dinner Served

The cost of the tickets for the Gala Dinner is $75/ticket or $150/couple and includes tickets for the Christmas concert.  If you wish to purchase a full table of 8, the cost is $600/8 seats.  You must call our office to reserve your table at 348-9196.  

You can purchase individual Gala tickets by contacting our office at 348-9196 to purchase them by cash or check.

  DECEMBER 8, 2007 – Rushmore Civic Center

We have a unique chance for your firm to participate in our Acoustic Christmas concert (est. 2,000 people attending) by sponsoring a table at the Habitat Gala Dinner, donating an item for the Silent Auction or purchasing an ad in the concert program.

Sponsoring a table is $600 for 8 people and includes dinner and concert tickets for each.

A $500 program ad (5x2.5) includes two concert tickets.
A $300 program ad (2.5x2.5) includes one concert ticket.
A $150 one line advertisement with your name or company name.

Keep in mind that Habitat for Humanity is a 501C3 non-profit organization,
tax ID: 46-0410933.  All contributions will support our ongoing work of building safe, decent housing for those in need at 0% interest.
