The Black Hills Area Habitat for Humanity’s second annual "Hoofin' for Habitat" raises awareness of and funds for eliminating poverty housing.  Habitat is working to create a long-term solution to poverty in the Black Hills, with an emphasis on constructing homes with the strength of volunteers.  Through Habitat’s endeavors, the neediest families are getting the chance to build and own a home.

"Hoofin' for Habitat" 10K run/walk on August 26th.  

Meet at the Aquatic Center park, 1:30pm.   The runners will start at 2:00 pm followed by those wishing to walk.  The path will follow the Rapid City Bike path from the Aquatic Center heading east towards the Pennington County Fair Grounds.  The 10 K turn-around is near the Soccer fields.
